A solder from Albania has died in Afghanistan as part of an international peacekeeping mission. Xhevahir Jazaj passed away on January 19th.
Albania is a small Balkan country in southeastern Europe with just under 3 million people and few Baptist missionaries from North America. After the fall of communism, the doors opened and many strong churches were planted.
The country is currently 58% Muslim. Pray for the believers in Albania and the work of the gospel there.
